Tents, RV's, grills, coolers, and left a mess everywhere. Once we got in, I thought we entered woodstock-there were drunk, sloppy people everywhere. It took us 2 hours to even access the parking lot from the road to the venue. I assumed this meant quick/easy access to the show (Jason Aldean/Kane Brown). I paid $50 for VIP parking for the event. With that said, there is a lot of negative that unfortunately doesn't make up for it. Right smack in the middle of the woods, and all you will hear is the music. Let me start by saying that the venue itself is beautiful. Never returning to this venue.even if we decided to get seated tickets to remove ourselves from the mosh-pit lawn area, we wouldn't want to have to run the gauntlet of the parking lot. NO security for us to even make a report to.

The woman grabbed me by the neck and cut me with her nails or ring.people threw open beer cans and water bottles (I got nailed with a full water bottle right in the back) and were just super obnoxious. My small group (2 couples) found a quiet area to stand in the lawn area near the fence, only for us to then be pushed and shoved on multiple occasions by another couple who were visibly drunk or high. We later saw him in line in the actual venue, waiting to get more beer.
We were almost thrown up on when in line to have our tickets checked.a man threw up all over himself and then just stood there blocking the line. It was appalling, and there seemed to be NO security. This venue was definitely not planned thoroughly.the logistics of getting up to the concert area were lengthy, not to mention the disgusting site of the parking lot tailgating - I enjoy tailgating myself but this was over the top.people openly urinating and vomiting, just in our walk from the bus drop off lot up to the Pavilion. There was only one soap dispenser in the entire place that had soap and by the end of the night that was empty too.Ĭlearly, all Montage Mountain cares about is money and not the guest experience. When I mentioned it one of staff managing our section, she rolled her eyes and asked,” What do you want me to do about it?” I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, since the staff bartenders were vaping in the bar while waiting on customers. As a non-smoker, this was very uncomfortable. We apologized and went to our original seats.ĭuring the concert, people were smoking and vaping in their seats and not the designated areas. She told us to move or she’d have security escort us out. We explained what had happened earlier but she seemed to think we were lying. We ordered drinks and sat there for about twenty minutes before another employee rudely told us that we were not allowed in the booth unless we paid $75/person to upgrade. Two venue workers told us the open seats were on a first come, first serve basis and we could have one of the booths. Since the concert wasn’t sold out, we asked about upgrading our tickets to a premium section.

None of the gate attendants knew how to operate the ticket readers. Waiting in line to get into the venue was awful.
We waited about twenty minutes in line to get into the lot. We packed a cooler full of water (they let you bring one bottle of it’s sealed) and comfortable shoes. It is a gravel lot and you do have to walk quite a bit to get into the venue from the lot.

Based on reviews, we arrived three hours before the concert started to get into the free General Admission parking lot. My husband and I came here for the 979X concert featuring Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless.
